Richard L. Jankola, 91, passed away on Friday, November 25, 2016 in Livingston, NJ. Born in Newark, Richard was a lifelong resident of Livingston, where he owned Country Exxon Gas Station for many decades. He was a proud veteran of the Merchant Marines and the U.S. Army, having served during WWII. He was a dedicated father who worked endlessly to provide for his family.

Richard was predeceased by his beloved wife, Lucille. He is survived by his loving children Linda Kraft, Carol Gerling (Carlos), Sandra Jankola, and Elaine Piltzecker (Michael); his grandchildren Rebecca, Victoria,...

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Avenue, Livingston. Funeral service will take place at the St. Gile's Chapel at Restland Memorial Park, 77 DeForest Avenue, East Hanover, on Wednesday, November 30 at 11AM. Burial will immediately follow.
