Bradford Marr, 65, of West Orange, passed away at his home with his loving wife by his side. Brad's family will receive friends at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home of Livingston, 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Ave., on Saturday, May 20, 2017, from 9 to 11 AM. The funeral service will follow at St. Giles Chapel, Restland Memorial Park, 77 DeForest Ave., East Hanover, at 12 noon.

Brad was born in Orange, NJ and was a lifelong resident of West Orange. He received his BA from Geneva College in 1973. During his career, Brad served as a development officer for medical/health organizations including Hackensack University Medical Center, Holy Name Hospital, Children's Specialized Hospital and Cedar Crest Retirement Community.

Brad was an avid railroad enthusiast. He enjoyed building model train layouts and garden railroads. One of his proud accomplishments includes the large scale construction of an interactive model train layout (known as Toscano Junction) at The Gabrellian Child Care Learning Center at Hackensack University Medical Center. His layouts have also been featured (twice) on the covers of a popular train publication.

Predeceased by his parents, Howard and Cathleen Marr, he is survived by his beloved wife, Debra, loving sister Judith M. Birmingham (Dan) and dear nieces Meredith Ersing and Lauren Birmingham.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Heart Failure Program at Hackensack University Medical Center would be greatly appreciated. Gifts in memory of Bradford H. Marr may be made payable to and sent to: Heart Failure Program of HUMC, 20 Prospect Avenue, Suite 201, Hackensack, NJ 07601.
